Entry level

The employment law practice in Frankfurt advises mid-sized companies, management bodies and human resources teams on individual and collective matters. We handle operational reorganisations, negotiate with works councils and draft employment documentation for managers and specialists. Our matters remain manageable in scale and teams are compact, allowing you to follow matters from first instructions through to completion.

As a junior associate, you will examine contractual documents, prepare draft works agreements and assist with negotiations. You will engage directly with clients. Where projects touch on corporate restructuring or employee privacy, you will liaise with colleagues across other practice areas in-house.

Lena Brockmann oversees your professional integration personally. During the initial months you will work alongside her on active matters. You will gradually take on specific work packages and conduct preliminary reviews independently. In regular development reviews, we discuss which areas of practice you wish to develop further.

We value clear language in formal pleadings and commercial correspondence alike. You will use English regularly on international matters and in communications with foreign corporate clients.

Is this role for you?

A good fit

You completed both German legal examinations with above-average results and have a genuine focus on employment law. You communicate clearly in English and German and enjoy working in close collaboration.

Less of a fit

If you seek rigid hierarchies with narrow specialisation, or prefer purely theoretical academic legal opinions without direct client exposure, this position is unlikely to suit your aims.

What we offer

Competitive remuneration and a dedicated partner mentor for your progression. We provide a budget for legal literature, remote working by arrangement and an office in Frankfurt-Westend. Working hours remain predictable because matters are scoped to team capacity.

How the application works
1
Application — Submit your CV and relevant academic transcripts using our form. A concise covering letter is sufficient.
2
Interview — In an initial video or phone call, we introduce ourselves and discuss your background and expectations.
3
Meeting the team — In our office, we discuss technical legal topics and you meet future colleagues and learn about our workflow.
4
Offer — If there is a mutual fit, you will receive a formal offer to join the firm without delay.
